Pastry Cook – Cocoa40 🍫
Cocoa40 is looking for a pastry cook to join our production team.
We are an artisanal chocolate and gelato shop located on Main Street in Newmarket, specializing in handcrafted chocolates, bonbons, gelato, and seasonal desserts.
This is a permanent part-time position, with hours increasing during busy seasons and special events.
Responsibilities
• Assist with production of chocolates, bonbons, and confections
• Prepare gelato bases and assist with gelato production
• Produce baked goods and seasonal desserts
• Maintain a clean and organized production kitchen
• Assist with preparation for catering events and seasonal demand
Requirements
• Passion for pastry, chocolate, and desserts
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Previous pastry, baking, or kitchen experience preferred
• Ability to work mornings, weekends, and during busy seasons
Compensation
• Hourly wage plus tips/gratuities
• Staff discounts on chocolate and gelato
